I saw the stories about how both the actors playing Finn and Poe wanted them to be in a gay relationship and Disney didn't allow it before I saw the latest movie, and I watched it with that in mind, and the actors definitely just acted like they were in a gay relationship pretty much the whole time so I was like yeah all right cool good for them

The kotor lesbian romance feels like that japanese anime I can't remember the name of where the entire cast is women and every single character pairs off with another person but only ever that person and they talk about how much they love each other constantly and all of the drama is based around whether or not the main characters will stay together as 'friends' but at no point does anything explicitly gay ever happen.

Now it's just two jacked alpha dudes doing masc4masc. Like, a white presenting superior officer and a shy, younger black subordinate being bashful is great for porn. The reverse is also good but much more problematic.
