Is there a canonial list of VNs I should try out? A friend recommended me Steins;Gate which I enjoyed, and I moved onto 428, which was even better. I've heard of the When they cry series, is there anything else that's a must-play? 428's interaction between different paths really highlighted what you can do with these types of games that are much harder to do in traditional storytelling. I'm currently playing Raging Loop and enjoying it, but it does feel much more linear than 428 was.
