This is because the first member of a clutch to hatch kills and eats the others as they emerge from their eggs. Bossk's dad kept the bones of his own siblings in a little urn on his desk as a reminder of what it takes to survive in the galaxy. Then Bossk killed his own dad because Bossk Sr. was getting old, slow, and stupid, and his constant nostalgia over the bones was presented as proof of that. "Progeny murdering their creators" was a recurring theme in the Bounty Hunter books, which is where I got those facts.

Bossk once tried to bluff his way through a situation and it looked like it was going to work so he was all "hey neat". then it turned out to not work at all so Bossk decided that talking to solve your problems is stupid and he would just kill things from now on.

Bossk was in the Shadows of the Empire comic book and tried to get some other bounty hunters to team up with him to take down Boba Fett. They were gonna steal Han's frozen carbonite block from Fett and claim the bounty. They got their asses kicked.

When I was a young kid, before Star Wars VHSs were easy to find, it came on TV and I was really excited. But the movies started kinda late and I started falling asleep as they went on. So I didn't know Boba Fett followed the Falcon to Cloud City or that the bounty hunters ever stopped looking for Han, and when Han opened the shield bunker, I dreamed Bossk (whom I called "The Lizard Man") was waiting for him inside and Han had to fight him. I told all my friends that my favorite part of Star Wars was where Han Solo punched a lizard.
