Fuck it then. For another pit sandwich and some 'tater salad, I'll post a few more.

Oh hey. This game holds the dubious honor of being one of the few I've quit after investing some time into (Edit - Just like every other poster who reported to this thread). Mostly because it's done absolutely nothing worthwhile with its interesting premise.

Following this thread and hoping things pick up from the generic repetitive dungeon crawls that made me give up.

If you're having that many screenshots you might want to consider having your updates be links to the test poster rather than putting all the images in the thread.
Seriously please don't.

"Of course humans were here all along - so you're going to get human party members and equipment, and the whole 'lost in an alien culture' aspect of the game will essentially disappear" is a pretty major warning sign about the game's quality.

Thankfully you can buy one on Gratogel, but it's twice as expensive as if you had saved the one from Jirinaar for him.

The first turn only had a place to buy food
"then if"? "first town"?

You're not using the gold replication trick?

Siobhan.

I used Demon Exodus to grind the party to max level in a certain future spot, after which two particular party members were strictly optional.

We're finally past the point at which I dropped the game, so I'm looking forward to further developments.

I'm not sure I understand what they were going for with the setting in this game. Why does it start out as generic sci-fi if the majority of the actual play experience is more like an ersatz Elder Scrolls with wizards and druids and magic and demons? It's not even particularly like they're doing a mash-up; other than the gun you get at the very start, there has been zero sci-fi elements since the intro segment.

It feels strongly like the script went through multiple revisions or they ran out of time, no hiding that. Especially once you get to the island of the Enlightened Ones and encounter a lot of dialogue that really isn't very relevant to the rest of the game.
It certainly sounds like a lot of interesting ideas were involved.

That was a really good LP, thank you. It was interesting to see all the stuff I missed out on as a kid who could never get past island one.

Though to be fair, I don't think I was missing all that much. It's a little disappointing that the entire alien world thing gets dropped after island 1 of 4 and then you just tool around with druids and wizards in a "stock fantasy rpg 4" tileset until the final fight
Same. Turns out I dropped the game fairly near the end, at that.

...

I mentioned a money exploit earlier in the thread, and learned Purple never heard about it. Now that the thread is (practically) over:
"If you have money on all characters, the game will take it from them proportionately in shops, even when the party members don't have enough for this to work. So if one of your character carries all the cash but all others have a coin too, the game will effectively only take "Price of Item/Size of your party" from you. Resell and repeat the process enough times and your party is swimming in gold."
