The internet over there must still be having issues because this stream is choppy as poo poo and it definitely looks like it's on the observers end. Shanghai still looks real good though. Like as good as Seoul looked compared to London, Shanghai looks just as if not that much better than Seoul.

I honestly couldn't even pick out who the problem child of NYXL was for that match. Nenne regularly playing so far away from the rest of his team that he was useless? Anamo getting headshot by Happy repeatedly despite having his own drat shield? Hotba throwing around weird fluxes at inopportune times? Jjonak apparently not realizing that Baptiste has bullets in his gun too? Idk, the entire team just looked like trash. Pretty sure the only reason they're not at the bottom of APAC is because Chengdu has it locked up solidly and the Spark, Spitfire, Dynasty, and now NYXL are all just sitting in the middle competing for who is slightly less poo poo.

nyxl are a good team in a hard region but they're the gate keepers of t2 rather than the top team people like to paint them as they'd prob trade games with teams like mayhem or fusion in na. tho I think mayhem/valiant have peaked way higher this year lih posted:nyxl have been weirdly middling this year but they were still solidly second tier last year (along with spark and gladiators i guess?), even with the easier division making them look a lot better than they actually were early on. its just that pretty much every team except shock and titans were extremely inconsistent last year so nyxl being a lot less inconsistent than most counts for a lot. their track record against pacific teams was spotty last year and iirc, people did the math and found that nyxl had objectively the easiest strength of schedule of any team in s2. the only difference between this year and last year for nyxl is that they're in the hard division now. they were prob around level of a team like glads in s2, so t2 is prob about right. still think they're there now but t2 is bigger Manatee Cannon fucked around with this message at 13:21 on Jul 5, 2020 |

Honestly if Fearless isn't in the running for season MVP, what are we even doing Edit - Charge have to be getting nervous. The knowledge that the Dragons successfully reverse swept Seoul just means it's possible they could do it again.
