All the April 1st stuff was always my favorite

So I guess the C&C remake is going to actually be on Steam and that's no joke?

Much like Windows going from 8 to 10, C&C goes from 3 to 5

In addition to eventually being released for free, the original games did the whole two-disc system, where you could play one of the campaigns with each disc and loan the other to a friend and then do multiplayer together. This was a very popular thing with my friends growing up.

Just looked at my Red Alert case, I've only got the Soviet disc.

I think I ended up with two copies of both tbh

It's the only way to correctly convey just what the gently caress was happening.

How is the remaster? Does it have new info about what the gently caress was happening?

It's essentially perfect, and with full mod support

Splinter Cell was years before sc ghost was supposed to come out.

Ghost was simply a dev team not knowing really what they wanted to do. At various stages it was a Halo like shooter, a half RTS or a stealth game.

Halo was also looking like an RTS for a while!

There were dozens of rts games that fit that description around that time- more deets please.

There was Myth and Myth 2 for sure- but lots of sci fi rts stuff.

I miss Homeworld.

Myth existed and was amazing, and still is. There's a big Myth-shaped gap in the gaming landscape and it's prime sequel or remaster material.

Play The Room and its sequels.

Myth the RTS, not Myst the point and click. But, also a good game.
