Us SSH Proxy for Mac. Just sign in with ash creds or id_rsa to a cheap nano Linode. set your sock proxy setting to port 7070. turn it on and configure whitelist/blacklist to your liking. plus, you can set up that linode to use a VPN too. but you’ll probably enjoy configuring stuff in the native app a lot more. you can even share VPN accounts this way. this was by far the best solution to work VPN problems. we had. didn’t have to send all traffic through VPN and the Chinese firewall never got in the way. you can also run another VPN locally I believe, as this uses SOCKS or maybe HTTPS proxy if you choose? there’s an iOS app (and mac) called SSH tunnels which has good reviews and looks to do the same thing, i just haven’t tried it.
