Mine last night was mostly: "Aw gently caress what woke me up? Was it the dog or the cat? Someone outside?" and then once safety was assured- snagging my phone to look at funny pictures and memes and trying really hard to contain my shuddering but silent laughter so I didn't wake up Mrs. Frogge before falling back asleep.

apparently, the human body becomes habituated to Benadryl (diphenhydramine) within two or so doses. just as a warning/cipher/whatever I take it maybe once a month. .. the hangovers aren't as bad as booze but they are not insignificant

was going to try going to bed earlier tonight than last night, but i got pissed off at wolfenstein: new order (gently caress autosave-only games) and so ended up watching videos of people loving with scammers to cheer myself up*, and now it's nearly 6 and i'm awake and having thoughts *edit: this is kinda backfiring because it's depressing that these scammers go to such lengths to steal money from vulnerable people. it's hilarious that youtubers can gently caress with them and waste their time, but they're still out there taking people's money Eh! I really shouldn’t play on my phone when I wake up in the middle of the night because it keeps me awake longer. But in order to stop thinking about the existential dread of being alone for the rest of my life and worrying about money now that my safety net is gone I just have to distract myself with it. So I’ll fall back asleep in an hour or two and feel like poo poo when I wake up

It’s almost 5 AM but that’s fine, I don’t really need to wake up until 4. It’s going to be hard to sleep, though, because my restaurant had about two and a half cooks working at it, and the other full one who isn’t me just got fired. This sleep that I’m about to try to get will be the best sleep opportunity I’ll have this week, and I already know it’s ruined.

Right now I'm mad i didn't go to sleep at least an hour earlier because i have to wake up earlier then normal tomorrow to make phone calls, the one thing i hate most to make. usually i just daydream about whatever lovely little idea that I'll fantasize about turning into a ttrpg or a comic or whatever someday if i every learn how to make thing (I will never learn how to make things).
