There are at least 4 different sources of permission data some of which overlap and take data from each other and the system that "controls" it is hot garbage from 2009 that still requires IE compatibility mode and has features like "if you request multiple roles, it will use 'lowest of' to work out what approvals are needed" so if you request "admin" and "basic bitch" it'll only check for basic bitch approval

i missed keypad talk the other day, i agree with all of you and there is a third way. this is my work setup.

i don't use the keypad frequently but occasionally i have to do a big batch of manual accounting and i really need it, i just don't like its traditional position on a keyboard. once upon a time I would have liked a kb with the numpad in the middle, but i like the wider gap now.



the mouse isn't great but it's one of few decent ones that i can use with either hand. gotta degrade both wrists evenly with crippling rsi

weird thing is that i think as an enterprise product, for certain jobs, it was kind of better than any attempt at ar stuff since. and i haven't heard of a useful non-enterprise ar usecase yet.

(Actually now I have it working in WIn10 it would make a good Media Device controller, no need to mouse on your thigh etc)
