Listen up, agent. We don't know much about the Raiders, but the only thing they do seem to "know" is that they won the super bowl. These people are not to be negotiated with, and watch out for the rogues that are working with them. They like to call themselves the golden knights and patrol near the Top Golf

When I picked this back up like a month ago, my old Hard Wired mortar turret build was still entirely capable of doing challenging and probably would have been fine on heroic with a little optimization/switching out Hard Wired for some china light/wyvern/empress/whatever pieces.

Any areas with low ceilings or when you are forced to fire up at something (think the control room in the Federal Emegency Bunker) the mortar turret won’t be able to do much but in big open areas I’d say it’s fine up to and including heroic. It’s my go-to when I need to combine bleeds and skill kills for some event because even if you kill something in one shot it still counts the bleed you would have inflicted.

It is a fairly slow firing and moving shot though so in a group there’s a decent chance someone with a gun has already killed what you shot at when your shell is still moving.

I would never believe we're getting a new mode or a new city portion - we'll get a few more apparel events and maybe one more manhunt.

My mortar turret build is pretty optimized and slaps on heroic assuming there’s anyone else in the party capable of handling rushers. Scorpio can only do so much.

I'm sure I'm probably alone on this but I love the New York expansion open world portion but I really dislike doing any of the expansions actual missions. I can't even explain why I just liked the missions in DC way more.

Well except the pentagon missions

New York expansion missions are way cooler in terms of environment, scenery and cool set pieces , but can be a bit annoying and/or unfun to replay. I’m looking at you Parnell.

DC ones have lame environments and set pieces (which is wild because you’d think DC would be ripe for dramatic locales) but the missions are easier to replay and plow through.

Imho just imho.

And 100% agreed on the open world. NY blows DC out of the water. I wish it was 6.9x the size.

It’s not even close. By far the best. The Tombs would be up there but the boss fight is the worst thing ever.

With ND and the three chonky boys with shields you don't even need to aim, just blindfire at all three and watch them die. I'm optimizing this STONER lmg with steady handed and is hilarious how easy is that fight.

Heard that, I don't know how many times, farming for Imperial Dynasty, but the mission never felt like a chore to me like some others. The environments and the soundtrack are really well done, imo.

At least Conley stays dead when you pump her full of lead :clint: unlike that Kajika bastard whom you can kill seemingly a half dozen times before he actually, you know, dies.

Bullet King/ND was absolutely made for Wall Street bosses. Did a league run where I ran drone/turret until the end and switched to BK/ND before the trading floor and did it in just over 14 minutes.

Also the emp/riot foam build from pages ago loving owns so hard with the new global event. Easy chain explosions and just constant damage on new enemies.

Now imagine how fast you could clear if you took the BK training wheels off. A 6Y Eclipse fire build, even having to shoot the APC unassisted, should get you to the exchange floor in ten minutes flat.

Are you suggesting I replace my ND gear with EP? I'm not sure how that works since the only status effect I'm applying w/BK is the crit damage link.

I think he means using either the flamethrower from firewall or sticky fire and foam and watch them burn.

Run 6Y fire Eclipse until the exchange floor, then when the lights go out swap to 6R ND with a real LMG. You might crack 12min. Skill cooldowns don't matter; just don't die.

You can swap to your ND gear for the APC but I've always been able to cut through that quickly enough.

The Hero We Need

Leave Zoidberg alone!

Ran Scorpio's Furywall through Wall Street last night, but hardly used the shotgun - pulled out The Grudge and just melted through. One mag per weakpoint on the armored car, once you close in.

Had to kite the boss shieldchonks a bunch, though, and eventually got so low on SMG ammo I had to Scorp it up.

Did the same at the Tanker, but Conley was the only one that lasted very long - "oh look I took that sticky bomb" VRRRRRT 30 rounds of de-facing whatever enemy was nearby "ok I'm good". Health/armor on kill and my poo poo-tier healybird did the job. Just pointblanked Conley in the end - stunlock/blind/Grudge debuff would just wear off as I finished the mag change, it was hilarious.

Are we talking about Wall Street speedruns? Managed to get 11:37 after a bunch of practice.

I can probably go sub-11 if I find a way to speed up the APC part.

As someone pointed out earlier, Negotiator's makes the boss fight go so fast. I can kill everything within one minigun cycle like half the time.
