I was going to mention while Sherman would be a way to troll the South he isn't without problems as a historic figure: He was thunderously racist against Native Americans and was 110% on board the genocide train pushing West. But then I also thought stars and bars true believers would be forced to cite that very racism as the reason for removing the Sherman statues, in the process admitting that racism is bad and Manifest Destiny is bullshit. So, yeah, let's do the Sherman statues.
