bengal spice tea with a bit of condensed milk! if you like any chai-like teas you should consider adding some condensed milk sometime to make it a sweet treat

It takes a lot to steep oolong I noticed. I used to throw a tea bag in a water bottle for fast lovely iced tea while I worked, but when I tried it with oolong once it took hours to work. I generally get loose leaf. Unless it's the rooibos I get at the store, so usually I take the basket out.

I got some lapsang suchong yesterday thanks to this thread because I hadn't had any in a while, and the coffee place had a jar of it near the cash, and anyway that is some dank-rear end tea. It's like being in a smoky longhouse in beverage form. |

LastGoodBoy posted:Drinkin' some tea. I have a tea tumbler, which is a cylinder made of heavy plastic with a stainless steel mesh lid that screws on. I put loose tea in there and then water for steeping. I just leave the loose tea in there and when I run out, I fill it up again and it makes another cup of tea; not so strong as the first cup, but still good. I am a philistine and probably a bad person for doing this, but I got in the habit years ago. |

I got a gift certificate @ upton tea for my birthday and browsing around there are some alarming holes in their stock so I just panic bought a bunch of tea! 500g of the tried and true and cheap C.T.C. breakfast blend https://www.uptontea.com/breakfast-tea-blends/irish-breakfast-loose-leaf-black-tea/p/V00088/ and 100-200g of each of these https://www.uptontea.com/afternoon-tea/darjeeling-yunnan-loose-leaf-black-tea/p/V00412/ https://www.uptontea.com/breakfast-tea-blends/english-breakfast-loose-leaf-black-tea/p/V00405/ https://www.uptontea.com/afternoon-tea/russian-caravan-loose-leaf-black-tea/p/V00411/ https://www.uptontea.com/lapsang-souchong-black-tea/lapsang-souchong-loose-leaf-black-tea/p/V00382/ https://www.uptontea.com/earl-grey-tea/earl-grey-loose-leaf-black-tea/p/V00417/ |

I know it's tea crew but can i just take a moment to call out how absolutely bad this loving coffee is please? It was only bought because we ran out and couldn't get to the good coffee place and had to grab something from the grocery store and honestly anything would have been better. It tastes like a railway tie soaked in butt juice and has a caffeine content of disappointment. I figured I'd just use it up at work because working night shift doesn't suck enough already but honestly I think I'm just gonna chuck it in the trash. |

It's an herbal tea but it's sorta similar to a lighter black without the astringency. |

I used to get a peach one with peach flowers in it and it's really good, but lately I've been getting this provençal one that's so amazingly fragrant and tasty. |
