european regulators simply said "obviously if the person doesn't wear their seatbelt they've chosen to be stupid, and the car shouldn't make concessions to them that will hurt people who are taking their safety seriously."

it was the last straw for me as the donation experience kept getting worse (seemed like the aching in my arms that would set in after two hours in the recliner, as they take platelets out of your blood and then put your blood back into you, was getting worse every time) and it was already a big hassle since i basically had to drive 45 minutes one-way to get to the one place around here that's setup to take platelet donations, and i was also sick of them hounding me on the phone to come in.
