i mean, it'll do something. it might not be the framerate or resolution u want but it'll do something.

no but real talk? u know what that really is?

its a cheap easycap analog composite capture device with a cheap hdmi to composite converter inside.

it converts the hdmi to 640x480 analog video and captures that.

Samuel L. ACKSYN

i ordered one of those too, out of curiousity. haven't received it yet, though. my understanding was that they convert the hdmi input to analog and then capture that, but I may be wrong and im interested in finding out.

on a similar topic, whats a good program for MacOS to capture UVC video inputs?

usually i'd use VLC but for some reason vlc 3.0 and up don't work for capture devices for me, it just shows like 2 frames and then buffers for a long time before showing 2 more and buffering, no matter what settings i mess with. they work fine in quicktime but recording in quicktime puts them in prores and i think vlc captures the original data stream from the device which is what I want

you must realize the truth. these days time has no meaning.

is it monday? is it friday? is it anything? or nothing?

we are all akin to the people in the langoliers, stuck and yet unstuck in time. we move forward in time, and yet, that time does not matter. i'm cooking rice at midnight, who cares, its fine. i ignore the clock on the wall, for you do not matter anymore, you dastardly round thing.
