The NBA has suspended its season and the NHL is in the process of following suit. I'm disappointed NFL wasn't an option so I could cheat and be technically correct But this thread seems kind of pointless, obviously any individual sport is going to have coronavirus discussion since seasons are being suspended unless you just want those N/V threads to die

All I care is if they're determining the NHL playoffs by point percentage or current standings. If it's the former I'm fine because then the Canucks can give up their 1st round pick for the Miller trade and I can stop worrying that they'll be forced to give up a lottery pick after the entire team is crippled by pneumonia.

I think the real issue here is that it's irresponsible for leagues to hold huge gatherings of people right now, regardless of the potential for athletes to get infected.
