Ok, I think Lumpen and RF are scum together. Both are too eager for this thunderdome, with too little in game reasoning, for this to not have been premeditated. I think that there was a scuffle in the scum discussion and they both got fed up, so they decided to hard bus eachother for town cred. I would vote either of them in a heartbeat now.
