Initially it's just leftists pointing it out and getting ignored. Then the Quartering and BrittanyVenti get banned/blocked for digging up some music video Eliza was in because she got mad people were drawing attention to it. -Chuds suddenly flip on Eliza, because she instantly went from Eliza the "  gotcha, liberals!" to Eliza the " Cancel Queen!"-At this point in the cycle they are all bickering about who knew she was a fraud all along, who is milking this for all its worth, and who is virtue signaling about hating/defending her the most. A fun observation I’ve had about anti-diversity nerd outrage is is that any representational media from before they first decided to be CHUDs is protected. That’s why they hate Rey and female Ghosbtusters but not Ellen Ripley and Samus Aran or any number of style nods to diversity in all their favorite media from the 80s and 90s. And we see it again how they were okay with pansexual Sims for years until this new update. The newest episode of The Last of Us featured some gay men who were in the game. The game came out in 2013, which I believe was before Gamergate, so they weren’t mad at them then. But now that the show is out, a lot of idiots are mad about gay characters “suddenly” being there.

Pretty much, and it's absolutely pointless to try to point that out to them along with any other examples of conservative hypocrisy, but excellent to illustrate their complaints are purely reactionary and being mad because they're told to be mad. Still important not to mix that up with legitimate criticism, of course. Personally I'm expecting some hilarious unexpected results of Sims having orientations now.
