Yeah, visible light is in the range of about 400 THz (red) to about 790 THz (purple, indigo and violet are made up nonsense colours from Newtons numerology obsession with the number 7, I will be taking no questions at this time), so the middle of the visible light spectrum is EM radiation about 10000 times the frequency (and as the energy of a photon is directly proportional to its frequency, about 10000 times the energy) of the radiation they are worried about.

Indigo is the dye traditionally used for denim. What Newton described as blue is closer to what we'd call cyan nowadays. The colour that was shoe-horned in for sevens was orange.
