There's a whole megathread in gbs about narcissistic parents and a forum where they congregate to complain about their thankless children and they all seem to write with the same cadence, the same phrasings, the same deflection of blame, the same vagueness when circumstances could reflect badly on them, into stories that make no sense to normal people. You can spot it a mile away. This is very likely a badly abusive parent as well.
