Which is my only real complaint about One Piece, we've reached the point where there isn't enough time to focus on an ensemble anymore. It's understandable with the insane number of characters being juggled, and it's not bad. It's just that there's no time for anyone to really do anything that isn't a punch-man fight anymore. This is also why it bugged me when Jimbei decided to join the crew, I think. He spent so much time as a side character on the general fringes that it feels weird for the series to suddenly accept him as a main character.
