for me it came down to the fact as bad as the Dems have been, Republicans have gotten far more people killed in my lifetime (i'm 32) due to complete incompetence, maleficence or a combination of both. I know Dems are corporate stooges who are just as individually selfish, short sighted and greedy as Republicans. But as Presidents, less people die under them. Its no contest for me.

Hell a lot of young Black folks are also skeptical of Socialism/Communist stances because they feel the core idea of "A rising tide raises all boats" is perpetuating a race neutral idea of Social Improvement that will ignore the individual issues that plague Black folks or outright meet them with contempt when coming to the table.

yea, im done with them. Clear AF that Trump has become the new normal and these motherfuckers just plan on moving ever so slightly to the left of Trump and call it progress. And the constant parade of Celebrities is just insulting, especially as a Black Man (and I loving love Billy Porter in Pose).
