this is me posting irl
This clicked together for me when someone posted over in another thread how the Jedi used to go around rounding up Force-sensitive kids for Jedi training. The Jedi obviously are not doing that any more. Remember that scene at the end of The Last Jedi where the kid uses the Force to grab a broom or something?

A bunch of people throughout the galaxy are going to grow up Force-sensitive and not be whisked away to reclusive monasteries. Some of them will be particularly adept, or ~strong with the Force~. A rare few will be exceptionally gifted, or otherwise manage to train themselves on how to use the Force, and effectively be wandering superpowered individuals.

Now, put this together with the fact that Disney's made enough money off of Marvel movies to build a terracotta army of cocaine golems.

The post-sequel Star Wars setting, under Disney, is going to be Star Wars-themed Marvel superhero movies.

They're going to sell it off to avoid going bankrupt thanks to the one-two punch of the debt they took on to buy IPs and the virus killing their tourism wing.

your plan sounds like it requires making new characters so it may be too ambitious

What if we just had a movie entirely about the forceghosts of already dead characters people paid to see back in the 60's.

the post sequel plan seems to be relentlessly focus grouping what OT characters people like them proposing prequel stories based on them featuring up-and-coming genre directors and film casts consisting of semi-retired actors and random people pulled off the street

then cancelling the whole thing when the director gets bored or it becomes obvious that this movie is gonna be horrible

Also, Muppet Babies did a Star Wars episode, so now the opposite can be done.

I guess they use some sort of big laser screen to project animated backgrounds onto the mandalorian. I can't tell if that's overkill but it looks neat
