Voting A to start with (presumably they'll switch it up every game) Much as I'd like to somewhat follow along in Japanese since it looks like it's going to dip into poor translation occasionally, it turns out it was only ever released physically in Japan and the intersection of people who bought it, had their PSP modded for video out, and wanted to record it appears to be zero.

I get that you have to stay with the target of your affections but it is kind of weird that everyone else is basically off 'playing the game' without you. I assume the rest of the game does actually exist, on other people's routes.

Also I just found the official manga is on Japanese Kindle but the table of contents in the preview informs me that there's four chapters, chapters 2 and 3 are titled Samurai Fantasy VII part 1/part 2 and the chapter 4 title appears to be something that hasn't happened yet, so I assume it got abruptly cut short (there's no volume 2) Also also the park is called 'Kanedou Blossomland' rather than 'The Gameatorium' which makes calling the mascot Kane De Boo make more sense (not to mention it sounds more like a theme park and less like a city arcade)

Yeah, I had a poke around for videos early on in the thread with basically no success and I just had a look earlier on the off-chance someone was either transcribing it or SSLPing it but it seems not, or at least not anywhere google can reach it, so I guess that'll have to remain a mystery.

I think nico nico douga doesn't hold the position it once did, YouTube has (generally speaking...) improved sufficiently in the last 5-10 years that Japanese people are equally likely to post their videos on there, probably more so if they're already in the Google ecosystem. To name a specific example, almost all the Japanese Conception Plus videos I looked up were on YouTube, and contrarily almost all the Conception videos were on niconico. It's kind of a shame because niconico's tagging system is really good (or more importantly, things are tagged accurately) so you can actually find things without The Algorithm getting in the way. (none of this really explains why they or anyone would go to dailymotion particularly, though)

Yeah, that seems very weird. Sure, as you said yourself "idols shouldn't date" and they reference that in Towa's final line so it's not exactly out of left field that he wouldn't stick with her, but...just silently leaving and never speaking to her again is a bit much.

I'm sure Meoshi's outfit is a metaphor for how he's bound up in himself. Probably. Had a quick look around and Dasoku was also responsible for the theme songs for a few other otome games and a couple of lesser-known anime. This was all pre-2015, though, not sure he's done any contracted work since striking out on his own. His youtube channel seems reasonably popular so I guess he's doing alright for himself, either way.

It's definitely not the same evening, if 'we entered after nightfall, and when we came out it was dark, so we must have been in there for a long time' is translated correctly, so they must have been in there for an entire set of daylight hours. Regardless of exactly what the numbers are that's going to be a food/water/tiredness problem, you'd think they would have at least mentioned it. e: I guess her point is it's 11, not that it's dark, but yeah either way it's impossible to make sense of. Merriam maintains that both variations are acceptable, but they also make a point to highlight that the words (in noun form) are distinct in origin and meaning. Whatever the case, there appears to be some kind of "polar opposite" dynamic at work. Despite the spelling the intended pronunciation is the same apparently, so presumably they just meant KANE DE BOO, except he's WARU (bad). But yeah the localisation kills it regardless.

In the Japanese script he says it's the Kanedo loop bus fire, so it could technically be a extremely long loop which visits the park (but yes probably not) This is presumably the same Kanedo from Kane De Boo and Kanedo Blossomland, either way.

The manga goes straight into this after Samurai Fantasy, possibly because they were already aware they weren't going to have time to do everyone's route (even though, again, it never made it past this chapter anyway) Pictured: KANE DE BOO with its arms actually tied behind its back and Saki's heroic rescue. They didn't meet outside the park so that dialogue is missing but it's basically the same scene otherwise.

It's also supposed to tie into the title - as mentioned in the OP this game is titled Bomb Decision in Japan, and her 'get mad' yell is 'What kind of decision is that?!'. Kind of funny to give it that kind of importance considering what a weak gameplay element it is.
