When I was like 9 I had a neighbor who's parents didn't let him come over when my mom wasn't home and he would watch me play video games through the basement window I would prop the box up on the TV so he could see what I was playing literally exactly the way twitch shows box art You all owe me royalties for my idea of playing a video game

There was a really hilarious take I saw once about how nerds are embarrassing for knowing "the massive list of rules for thousands of magic cards but not how to play bridge" that really made me want to make a game that uses a standard deck of 52 to play one of those games that's so complex no one actually wants to play it

It's actually fine for modern Tetris games to die because guideline sucks rear end. Effect is really pretty but at the end of the day you can still mash rotate to make your pieces teleport around the playfield and I'd rather be playing a grand Master game
