I think vtubers are exactly the same as youtube used to be but with live2d Like we didnt used to have to know the rl name and political opinions of a dude who made jokes about resident evil, but now thats seen as so normalized that the idea of someone not showing their real face or telling you all about their real life is weird, even though it leads to a lot less weirdness Like some people are way too into it but at least theres a wall of disconnect that prevents 'this person is my irl friend and i need to hear their opinion on isis' Endorph fucked around with this message at 12:49 on May 3, 2020 |
