If you like boardgames the Frosthaven Kickstarter is closing in about 90min  It's prequel Gloomhaven has basically sat at the #1 spot of Board Game Geeks all time list for a long long time as the ~Board Game Darling~ of the moment. I have wanted to pickup Gloomhaven for a while now, but it's supppppper expensive at retail. The box it comes in is absolutely gigantic, with an absolute fuckload of secrets to discover. The Medium is actually a pretty cool party game. It's great in a group of people you know, but amazing with a group of strangers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2qvNOfDdx4 Basic concept is you and your partner both choose a card with a word on it, you reveal the cards, and then have to find the medium/middle between those two words. For example the 2 words are Big + Small. What's the word in the middle of those? Medium. It gets really interesting when you have more abstract words drawn. For example World + River. You're likely going to be wrong a few times before you arrive at the same word. That's the basic premise any way. It's a really great ice breaker at parties with people you semi-know, and is just as good to watch as it is to play.
