Okay, get this: -inbetween your 'consciousness' (dont even get be started breh) and the universe are your senses. Like a brain-in-a-jar scenario, only the jar is your skull -if your senses change, your universe changes. If you're in the literal 'mainstream' of a river system, it is hard to swim against it. CIA magician Michael Aquino has this division between black magic (internal to your own mind) and white magic (manipulation of tools that society leaves 'lying around' that touch many people) The idea that everyone does their own thing that is no more or less magical yh6an anybody elses is a powerful one. Some say that everyone has their own 'True Will' , and that the only true moral code is that you should be true to it. People do magic all the time, they just don't contextualize it as such
