I was actually kind of surprised to see that Bortles wasn't demonstrably better. They're pretty close, Mitch is probably slightly better because he's more careful with the ball.

I don't remember why we're talking about John Ross but Schefter just tweeted the Bengals elected not to pick up his 5th year option. Which doesn't seem like a surprise but I guess it's official now. I'm sure they also declined to pick up Ross's 5th year option as a fan prematurely.

Ross has been a headcase it seems. He flashes talent from time to time but there'd be at least one dispute over routes every game. I think he's got a foot out the door already, I am certain Ross will be gone next year, I doubt he'll even listen to offers from Cinci. I think he got turned off by Marvin's stupid hangups on rookies and never got over it.
