it begins

quote:

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports "there is an extremely small chance that there will be no NFL season in 2020."

Florio's sources have "direct knowledge of both the NFL's deliberations and the current and expected medical and scientific developments in the coming weeks and months." There have been previous reports indicating the NFL could play on Saturdays as well as Sundays if college football is postponed. This surely won't be the last news of developments ahead of next season.

I was actually kind of surprised to see that Bortles wasn't demonstrably better. They're pretty close, Mitch is probably slightly better because he's more careful with the ball.

Didn't Bortles almost have a 5000 yard season?

Edit: it was 4428 and 35 tds in 2015. Trubs isnt anywhere close to that

Best single year of course but overall their rate stats are almost identical in most cases, and when they aren't Trubisky is a little better.

I mean in the end the Bears are lucky Mitch didn't put up a year like that to fool them into thinking he might do it again.

Very, very fast man who has a career 42% catch rate. So he can both run away from the virus and would probably drop it if someone threw it at him.

I memorized his rookie stats because my brain hates me

One rushing attempt
9 yards
Fumble lost

That was the only time he touched the ball his rookie season as the 9th overall pick

I don't remember why we're talking about John Ross but Schefter just tweeted the Bengals elected not to pick up his 5th year option. Which doesn't seem like a surprise but I guess it's official now.

I'm sure they also declined to pick up Ross's 5th year option as a fan prematurely.

Well it is the Bears. They are contractually obligated to always make the worst possible decisions when it comes to Offense.

john ross will make it in the league. he will recapture running the right routes combined with getting softer throws from guys with less velocity than the notorious red rife

Grimey Drawer
Ross has been a headcase it seems. He flashes talent from time to time but there'd be at least one dispute over routes every game. I think he's got a foot out the door already, I am certain Ross will be gone next year, I doubt he'll even listen to offers from Cinci.

I think he got turned off by Marvin's stupid hangups on rookies and never got over it.
