I inadvertently end up liking people like Miley Cyrus not because I'll ever listen to her music but because they make people of a certain breed extremely angry for no good reason and imo I like that, I like that. Like it's very pleasing to hear some metalhead going on an anti-Bieber screed or something because it's one of the most obvious ways to mine whatever insecurities they harbor. In this case usually they're mad that normal people listen to music they don't and thus their taste won't receive the recognition they think it should. I couldn't name a Bieber song off the top of my head but I like the guy just for that. It's fantastic, just great. I hope Miley Cyrus pisses more people off by doing innocuous things that shouldn't make any reasonable person angry but somehow does in spades. God bless America.
