Supervisor Mtambe is grateful enough for you saving the platform head that she doesn't even try to stop you hauling off the strange foes. Even gets some of her employees to help you carry them. Dragon has wisely shoved the sample container into the prawn's blasted carapace. Soon enough the mercs are back on the boat. And the silence breaks, everyone speaking at once. Questions, cursing, speculation. Ivette cuts it off with a slash of her hand. "We get paid. That's non-negotiable. We figure out what these things were. Viv, Dmitri, cut them open, figure out who made them. Then we figure out if we want to use our escape clause." Surely this is some CIA/FBI level crap where there's gonna be someone in every port trying to find the samples of these things and ask us questions very kindly. Anyone got a bolthole we can beeline to? I hear the Amazon is good this time of year."

We probably can't play dumb too long because our benevolent masters are going to get reports from the people on the platform, I'm really not quite sure what to do. This seems way out of our paygrade but I also want nothing to do with the black helicopter crowd so kicking it up the chain probably isn't smart. I also don't want to keep getting shot at by some general's twelve trillion dollar secret weapon. And why the hell are they running loose on some geothermal platform in the middle of nowhere? I think first research priority's gotta be the sample container, because I can't even begin to guess what the gently caress was going on and that's our main lead.
