I know exactly what you're talking about and this is the section that inspired my speed limit == road name comment. And if they aren't wrapping it out on 99 they're flying down Mueschke or Cypress Rosehill. I don't really look forward to being down there in a few weeks.

I thought my ideas were so clear. I wanted to make an honest post. No lies whatsoever.

it feels like LA freeways are slowly returning to normal. i was really enjoying the 0 traffic.

in la/the ie this was pretty much just due to the novelty of open freeways i'm assuming, which i get tbh.

la and ie drivers are typically fine, but very angry/aggro; i think i saw a study once that said the ie has the angriest drivers in the country, and i'd believe it.

i thankfully havent spent a ton of time in the ie other than just passing through it, however i moved to la from the east coast a couple of years ago and lived in the sf bay area before that, imo la drivers are actually pretty friendly. aggressive and fast whenever possible, but friendly, people will let you in, make eye contact and acknowledge, etc. whereas on the east coast a lot more people are assholes, and the bay area - which was ok when i was a teen/20something - has gotten really bad in recent years as well
