Summer 403 Addendum We find a young and enterprising diplomat has managed to arrange a trade deal with the breakaway state of Asia. This is a surprise due to their fairly hostile views towards us but we’re happy to sign it anyway. Summer 403 - Barbarian Response The Ebdanians continue to cause us trouble. They march on the sparsely defended port town of Brigantium. As per LP rules, I can’t fight this one as we have not upgraded the defenses of this city and don’t have a general in the location The garrison is crushed. Further north in Britannia, the Caledonians do the same attacking the nearly undefended city of Corinium. It again does not go well. The city of Corinium in Britannia is sacked. Fall 403 - Turn 35 Hispania The Edbanaians have liberated the city of Brigantium, creating the nation of Hispania. This is literally the single most annoying thing they could do. To prevent this situation getting out of hand we raise a new legion in Bracara and begin to recruit while our existing legion continues to give chase. Britannia Our legions continue to chase down the remnants of the Caledonians as they flee deeper into the corner of Britannia. The Huns The Emperor takes a bold step and declares war on the huns. Three raiding parties are in our territory and they have shown the empire too much disrespect. In reality, three stacks entering territory is bad, if they walk past our border they will just cause chaos burning our interior settlements. This isn’t anywhere near as bad as Hun’s with Attila behind them but still a dicey move. Luckily we find one of their three armies is weak, it is attacked and destroyed.
