Who else loves punk rock? What qualifies as punk? Some say it ended in the 80s. I disagree but I see where they are coming from. Favorite punk bands? A few of mine in no particular order... Dead Kennedys Bad Religion Social Distortion Green Day Operation Ivy Screeching weasel I'm also a fan of cowpunk which combines country music with punk/rock. Example would be the Swinging Udders. Anyway there was another girl at school who always called me a poseur and we were mortal enemies. Now decades later we like each others posts on facebook because of our similar politics and sense of humor. I thought she was the poseur btw. Becuase her family had money and mine didn't and I knew she bought all her poo poo from the mall when I had to make do with hand me downs and walmart. Well anyway post your punk thoughts y'all!
