I feel like pages, and entire chapters , are randomly missing. They go from Bass hooked up to the computer to getting invaded but then kicking their asses, and then suddenly she's running down some dirty alley?

The invasion bit was some poorly executed in media res stuff and I believe this is a flashback Roll is going through after Protoman knocked her out at the end of the previous issue.

This is an interesting thing to stumble upon 7am on a Sunday. So someone already pointed out what I was waiting until I caught up to point out, but some of the people involved in this project actually have a real-rear end career. Erica Awano (#4 artist) and Daniel HDR (#2 cover) are the two that come to mind. Erica drew a Brazilian manga called Holy Avenger, inspired on an RPG system called Tormenta, and it was a pretty popular national comic book. Like, she was the guest of honor on 2018's Feira Internacional de Quadrinhos (FIQ), which is the biggest comics convention in Brazil. Daniel HDR has drawn for Marvel, DC, Image and other companies, and now also runs a studio and teaches university courses on drawing. I know this because he's a pretty frequent guest on a podcast I listen to and he seems like an all-around cool dude. He's been doing live drawings during the pandemic, like this Goku: https://twitter.com/danielhdr/status/1254147885698027520 Oh, something that kinda went unnoticed: a lot of the artists that worked on this comic were either in high school or had just finished it. I'm reminded that there's a (apparently pretty good) Sonic fangame that has one of the characters from Sonic Underground, and Scourge from the Archie comics. (The latter even collecting Anarchy Beryl instead of Chaos Emeralds) Obscure non-canon characters are always fun fodder for fan stuff. (and occasionally you get a Harley Quinn situation)

Mike Deodato Jr.'s name appearing on a facsimile of a 90s Marvel credits scroll mid-way through this issue is a trip. I guess it's just a tribute, like the Toriyama thing? He is Brazilian, so I guess there's an outside chance he worked on this, but that would be extremely wild.
