Generation Zero is on sale for cheap on steam. It's pretty decent so far. It really scratches that "shooting at robots in 1980s Sweden" itch.

I really like that they reused that riff for the Quantum of Solace opening and it was a shame that they didn't persevere with it through the rest of the Craig films.

apparently it's the real title of one of fleming's novels. the movie has nothing to do with the book, and the book's title refers to a man looking for a "quantum of solace" that he can't get because of his henpecking wife, or something.

i didn’t really like skyfall because im a joyless cretin who hates that thing when the movie winks at you like “hey remember this stuff from the sean connery days?” like i understand why most people get a kick out of that stuff but it always takes me out of the action

the first 2 or 3 connery films are the only good bond. everything after is just dumb gadgets and 70 year old roger moore eyebrow raisng his way into bed with women a third of his age with ridiculous names like Flaps Ahoy or Gentley Doomey.

I’m playing opus magnum right now and it’s good basically just spacechem with an alchemy skin though might try exapunks but am also eyeballing the battle brothers expansion that came out last year

zach only knows how to make one game, or maybe two. everything is either a reskin of spacechem or a reskin of tis-100. that isn't terrible, but idk. it makes buying the new ones feel like buying fifa 2021 when you already have 8 previous fifas. opus magnum and shenzhen i/o are the two best though.
