drat titan fall 2 is good and looks very nice, genuinely didn't realise it came out in 2016, though I guess thats partly because I have a 1070ti which was good spec for then so can run on insane settings seeing all the frozen dudes making  faces flying through the air when the big maguffin thing explodes was pretty lol though

Completed disco elysium again and one option in the final debrief was to respond with "I'm an OK cop but also A MASSIVE COMMUNIST!" it's weird how little of it I remember despite the overall end being the same. I'll confess I save scummed the tribunal a bit because I was annoyed that high physical instrument/half light gave me zero options for dealing with it and it was better to just take a load of speed and roll the dice on shooting the merc leader in the face I will never not laugh at things like "hey Kim, are you not going to ask where I got these armoured boots from? they're cool aren't they? "

I'm at the last mission in cyberpunk but am doing a load of side stuff and there is some mad poo poo hidden behind some of the generic looking map quests. Like the guy with the grenade for a face, I have no idea what was going on there. Also i haven't upgraded a tech rifle I got in like mission 3 and it still virtually 1 shots things through walls. The driving is terrible though and I feel like the actual cyberware is just kind of dull because you dont/can't upgrade it much (unless you have loads of body) and have to go round every ripper in the city to actually see what's in stock.

I really need to play the Alan wake add on for control as I never did. I should just replay it tbh because the visuals and atmosphere were so good. It even made me briefly want an rtx card to replace a completely not poo poo 1070ti because the Ray tracing looks amazing.

I thought cyberpunk was/is ok and it does look pretty amazing but yeah it's pretty clear that they ran out of time because the missions are completely flat outside the main ones and there are some pretty half baked systems in it that it seems they didn't really finish Like, armour seems to do nothing? Crafting is simultaneously gated and not very useful and all the cyber ware is just variations on "add 5 points compared to previous". but I actually thought keanu was good in it and somehow perfect for the role, I means he's pulling off the leather trousers and tank top look also when you use his gun the reload animation is cool

I played poo poo loads of 4 and then completely stopped but I remember the mortars being *brilliant* before they adjusted the cool down so I hope 6 is just as wildly unbalanced at first just endless *thunk* double kills all day while people raged at you lmao

Like the kerry eurodyne story was pretty good, I enjoyed that one. Also lol that as one of the endings you can just kill urself and you get a credit sequence of every other character calling you up to call you a selfish idiot.
