been having a good time with returnal. probably should have held off for a goty edition but it's been good fun. Nice, responsive action, great sound design, awesome rumble.

beat returnal. gameplay is really fun. game absolutely should not have been a roguelike, that made it incredibly not fun to beat. i was fueled by frustration to finally beat it and guess what that takes all the joy out of gaming. no catharsis upon landing the killing blow on the last boss or anything. just a feeling of good i can turn this off now.

i'm playing nier automata and i somehow missed out on the fact that this game does not have typical platinum combat(or rather it does it just doesn't matter), but the atmosphere and mood is a+. i'm really just using it as a brain break between studying for interviews.

i got bit hard by the elden ring hype cycle and i'm very upset it's so far away. in the meantime playing sifu. which is a cool and good 3d beatem up with some meta progression. idk if it's worth it at full price but this is the computer toucher forum.

i'm having some weird fomo/decision fatigue with elden ring. i want to see all the things in one play through(because i know my adhd self and i never succeed at playing games again once i see credits). i'm upset i missed some content in the first castle and i don't want that to happen again.

did a first to 10 with one of wife’s friend’s husbands in guilty gear strive. was up 7-4 at one point but ended up losing last round last game. that momentum swing was real. felt really good to do some competitive play offline though. i noticed i get away with a lot of dumb poo poo on net play.
