my vote is the Kingston datatraveler se9 g2, which they apparently still produce

I had one of those kingston datatravelers on my keychain for a while. It finally kicked the bucket when I dropped my keys while opening my front door. One end landed in a seam on the floor tile and the other end got picked up by the opening door and the whole thing ended up bent almost 90 degrees

10/10 would buy again tho

someone gave me something called a "gorilla drive" a few years back as a christmas present and it's the first thing that's been able to survive on my keys for more than a year

i have a sandisk extreme go usb3.1


it uses an ssd controller chip or some poo poo like that so it's faster than normal usb flash drives



edit - it also has a satisfying fidget slider mechanism
