Best case scenario, they want Kross to be a big deal (fairly quick) and this was set up to really put him over. Worst case scenario, Kross is limited as gently caress and they didn't trust him to do a longer match than this. In either case I guess they're trying to hide his weaknesses and play to his strengths?
