lmao @ weak rear end kids getting scared from movies

My big bro was watching Predator and I hid under the table so mom wouldn't see I was watching it too and I was like "hell yes that alien owns". Then the next day I was gonna show it to my friend thinking the tape was still in the VCR, but nope turns out there was actually a porn in there now of a guy fingering two girls' buttholes (???), and then mom barged in and was like "what THE gently caress ARE YOU DOING :byodame: ".

That's something to be scared of :gonk:

Finally saw Ghostbusters when I was in kindergarten after hearing about it for decades (I had seen ads for it on TV and it seemed like it was never coming on, it was probly just a few weeks or months tbh) and was like :aaaaa: and immediately set out to build ghost traps to gently caress up some gosh darn ghosts which are real and exist.

I felt sorry for the guys in Return of the Living Dead who got sick from the chemicals and died, and also the half dogs.

Anyway the only movie thing I was scared of was Dracula but that wasn't because of any movie, it was because when we were on vacation my big brother said Dracula lived in the caravan next to ours and was gonna kill me. It made sense because they were selling Dracula lollipops at the visitors center. Well then me and my friend played Castlevania and learned Dracula was no big deal, he could be easily hosed up. Then we saw that movie and it turned out Dracula was actually the coolest poo poo.

Furthermore, my friend had a big box of movies, one which was labeled "Goldfinger", and due to the Predator incident, for the longest time I was pretty sure that too was a porn.

Some kids in computer class were watching some kinda Al Qaeda beheading video and I only caught a glimpse of it but it made me physically ill. Same with eyewitness accounts from survivors of massacres relating the dying sounds of their friends.

When they do that poo poo in a movie though, it's just stupid, obvious shock value bullshit. It's like the movie is kicking a puppy or something just to elicit a gut response, and it's like "yeah okay this sucks can you get on with the movie please".

As for the topic, as a kid my older brother would subject me to a lot of horror movies against my will and I'd be scared from Alien or Nightmare on Elm Street for weeks. But the only one that really hosed me up was Arachnophobia. My gf asked what I would do if she teased me with a spider and I told her I'd brake up with her on the spot. I'd probably burn the whole neighborhood down, too, just to be safe.

You may wanna try watching it again, Arachnophobia is actually hilarious and great.

Back in the 90s sometime they showed it on TV, then the week after they showed a movie about killer bees swarming everywhere. I didn't see how it ended but my brother said they lured the bees out to sea setting them on fire with oil, leading me to believe it was The Swarm. The very next day, me, my friend, mom and little sister were out picking strawberries when we hear this weird low frequency noise. Then we look up and holy fuckballs a giant black buzzing cloud is heading right for us :stonkhat:

We run the gently caress away to the car, but my friend still got one in the hair and got stung (which is weird cause they aren't supposed to be in stinging mode when they're swarming).

Some weeks later I was at my other friend's house playing when we hear the gosh darn noise again and another bee swarm sets up shop in a hollowed out tree there while we hide in a shed.

Then finally in late summer we were playing at the playground when yet another cloud of bees comes flying straight over the place.

Never before or since have I seen or heard a free flying bee swarm. That movie may have been cursed.
