I felt the same way with Val Venus. When I was a kid i thought the gimmick was funny and cool and I always rooted for him and now hes...him.

I doubt most fans know. All the people I know who are wrestling fans don't know anything more about wrestlers than what the WWE puts on TV that week.

Yeah most of my friends order Wrestlemania like you'd order a big event or boxing match and barely know the wrestlers names much less anything about them.
