"Take it to PMs" is an appropriate solution when you have two people derailing a thread with an extended conversation that's not related to the actual thread's topic. Really I just wanted to post in this thread. I also have some limited first hand experience dealing with mod poo poo on SA and from what I can tell the real work is dealing with the behind the scenes stuff.

I'd be ok with a "don't poo poo on newbies" forum rule as long as it accompanies a rule against trolling by  just asking questions

This is strange to me. Ichiban always seems chill in the mma threads. Also I should note that I'm a cspam poster but my cspamminess only comes out when we're talking about Colby Covington or Dana White  . The problem isn't cspam; the problem is assholes.
