A game that involves people touching, spitting, bleeding and breathing all over each other? Probably not. But if all the stars align and the players can stay safe for the entire season, that would be cool. I just don't think it's gonna happen.

The NFL will try to make it happen, and then a bunch of dudes will get sick in training camp and then they'll end up calling it off. It's like the way all those dumb states opened up and now their COVID cases are increasing exponentially and they're just going to close things again. hosed up but true.

New Zealand have got professional rugby union up and running, with crowds and everything. But, this came after the spread of Covid-19 was managed and brought under control. It痴 a similar story in Australia, where rugby league has restarted and rugby union will be restarting this weekend.

Football generates so much money that everything possible will be done and every risk taken to ensure it happens. NCAA might be canceled early if a kid or two ends up in the hospital with it though.

training camps are scheduled to open as planned so it looks like they'll try business as usual not sure about spectators, but seeing how the rona's been handled there might just be some season ticket slots opening up!

They should make it flag football and all the macho dudes have to wear those dainty little flag belts from elementary school and the linebackers can稚 touch each other and have to stay 2 yards apart and the only thing they can do is try and grab a flag if one of the running backs runs by. Or eliminate running plays all together and make it so only passing plays are allowed. And replace the football with one of those ergonomic ball things that has an arrow-end on one side and stretch the field to 200 yards and let the QB痴 throw super long bombs. Would be better than what we have now.
