when i'm playing monster hunter world, i often mess up my clutch claw binds between melee and ranged weapons, as they are different on my setup. it is very embarassing.

the technical/visual order of addition and subtraction and multiplication and division, borrowing numbers, all that nonsense. shapes, numbers and letters intertwine in my mind, try to follow me here- 3 and E sometimes 3 also reads as 8 8 might also be a B or a 3 I have no problems with confusing 7's or L's. I can perform next to zero mathematical equations involving 7's or 8's I can understand that a week is 7 days and two weeks is 14, and can do that math on a whim when contemplating time, but if you ask me to add 7+7 I cant function. If you ask me at 7PM what time it will be 7 hours later I promise you I will crumble into dust. 8+8 sometimes I understand as 16, because you're adding two numbers and subtracting two numbers from the original. for whatever reason without fail I can tell you 12x12 is 144. P d and b q don't bother me, but word problems involving 6 and 9 using strong pdqb words wreck my brain. I can distinguish certain bluffs like 'porn' and 'pom' and 0/O, but "S" sometimes replaces '5' and dances around with 2 and Z. 5 and 2 I have issues with. 5+2=7. I also struggle with 7's when they're next to 8's. the hell. I'm able to understand mathematical concepts much better. The 'Base" system was really cool to learn about, where 100=X. Time is base=60 (60=100 if 100 is a fractional pie) sixty minutes make up one hundred percent of the hour. I found out that I had something called dyscalculia, my older brother had been diagnosed with dyslexia very young and it was explained to me as the same thing but with numbers. its terrible cause you feel really stupid, you take too long to answer, a weird stage fright kicks in, and look like you didn't pass second grade. Subtraction and division really razzle me.. if you take the pressure off, and let me take some time, I can work through it. I had a graphic/web job that involved a lot of 'math' and no one believed I could function at the level I was if I were experiencing those issues. I just used my eyeballs and made a shortcut to the calculator on my desktop. "you cant play around with code on qbasic if you cant even add 7+8!" the kids would yell at me while we unwound the tetherball. (I'm not l337 I swear its a serious problem)
