Because it still blows my mind that I never even heard about that. I heard about him having a serious issue after the Vitor fight and then getting some blatant eye-gouges and having issues with his retina and whatnot, but I somehow completely missed him essentially losing use of one eye for the purpose of our dumb sport.
And 2008-2017 was roughly the time where I was following the everloving hell out of MMA/UFC, my dumb drunk-re-watches of UFC events notwithstanding.

You never heard about it bc he lied and kept it a secret until pretty much the moment in that video bc the commission wouldn't have let him fought with one eye. Absolute GOAT poo poo.
