This was a fun half hour. Coughlin vs Connors was a decent young lion match. I feel like Clark Connors is a hair's breadth closer to graduating than Alex Coughlin. He's just a little more intense and his stuff has a bit more snap. The magic sponge commercial was dumb as hell. I loved it. Karl Fredericks and TJP versus Jeff Cobb and Rocky Romero. Karl's new gear is great. Love the tassel boots. His haircut is a little silly but I'm okay with that. Seeing Rocky and TJP mix it up in the LA Dojo is just such a great moment. This was a fun tag match that did a lot to establish Karl Fredericks as a threat. And an rear end in a top hat. Fredericks gave a pretty decent post match interview too. Overall, this was a great half hour show. Bitesize, a couple of good matches, and some character development. I look forward to more.

A few months later the same guy wrestled orange Cassidy who gave him way more and put him over. He can be really selfish in ring

Very sports-style presentation this week, which is no bad thing. 1) Rust Taylor vs DKC. Two very decent but slightly bland wrestlers. Kevin on commentary mentioned Kyle O'Reilly and I could see why for good and bad reasons. Both have great potential but they urgently need to stop calling Taylor "Rust" as it's a silly name. Russ Taylor works much better. As a sidebar it is weird that every member of the Fightin' Taylor Boys is now in a major promotion. 2) Danny Limelight vs TJP. Limelight looks good but small. TJP looks like a dirtbag. Some fun spots and sequences here but Danny Limelight has some polishing to do. There were more than a few stumbles or broken moments in the match. All that can and will improve. His rope walk stuff was unique and enjoyable. This continues to be a fun short show that cheerfully killed the time before Master Wato and Watomania
