I've been tryin' to speak with you for a long time
Dairy producers took a bigger hit than a lot of farmers because there were no drivers to get their products to market for a while and they were dumping thousands of gallons of milk at a time. Over here in grain land I don't think we had much difficulty other than a lovely price situation.

I've been tryin' to speak with you for a long time
My mom's wheat crop has pinched heads due to hot weather and drought conditions this spring. They have already file an insurance claim and harvest isn't until late July. Everyone in the area is in the same boat. Of course, this would be the first year in a long time when the price is OK.
