Am I correct in my assumption that making Zwift work with a Peloton is more effort than it's worth?

My wife is getting one of the Peloton Bike+s, and I thought it might be neat to hook it up to Zwift. I'll probably just do regular Peloton stuff when I don't feel like dragging my actual bicycle downstairs rather than swap out pedals.
