im honestly fine with edmonton getting #1 overall. 1, itd be funny to see them get it given the NHL changing the rules because of them, and 2) they havent won anything recently. gently caress Chicago or Pittsburgh getting it

I was hugely skeptical, but return to play has been terrific so far. Same. I remembe the original idea kicking around was that the NHL wanted to do the entry draft before the return to play(if there even was one) to give their media partners something to show. They saw what the NFL did and wanted that. But then it somehow turned into just the lottery and then as the bubble idea took shape it turned into two possible lotteries as they changed the format. So what they got was a lottery no one watched besides die hard hockey fans and now this wet fart on monday.
