I know you typically don't want to go with a rotation deeper than 10 dudes at the most, fewer in the playoffs. right now my team (Utah) has 5 g league guys and a 6th guy who is a fringe NBA player on his best day. this seems like a lot to me but I don't know how other teams typically do it. on the spurs, besides the two way guys (quinndary weatherspoon and drew eubanks) there’s chimezie metu and trey lyles who are d league calibre and maybe someday could be end of the bench guys as far as guys who aren’t super young, the worst player on the spurs right now is probably tyler zeller (who i didn’t even realize was on the spurs until i looked at the roster)

the package will probably include sexton, since ben simmons can pass and dribble but can’t shoot and garland can shoot but can’t pass or dribble, so put them together and you got a dream backcourt i imagine that they think the sixers would jump at the chance to have kevin love but at that point they’d have like $85 million a year tied up in three players, two of which are on the wrong side of 30 and the other with significant injury issues; mostly i think they’re just trying to ship out love and seeing what the market’s like but i can’t imagine the cavs not including some picks even if they’re down the road

Prime LaMarcus Aldridge was PRETTY GOOD BUT NOT GREAT and i believe i said some unflattering things about him being overrated by portland fans and then i was cursed to have him on my team (this also happened with rudy gay and demar derozan; to complete the lineup of "guys declan doesn't like very much because they live off midrange jumpers and not playing defense in the early 2010s" we'd also need to sign derrick rose and spencer hawes) anyways, life comes at you fast and i still am not a fan of lma or derozan or gay (although supposedly all three of them are really good teammates and people off the court so whatever)
